16 Dead, Seven Missing In Indonesia Flood

Over the weekend, four districts on the Indonesian island of Sumatra experienced flash floods and a landslip.

At least 16 people were killed over the weekend by flash floods and a landslip that swept through four districts of Indonesia’s Sumatra island, according to the country’s disaster agency.

In a statement released on Monday, Abdul Muhari, the spokesperson for the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB), stated that 16 people had died and seven more were missing.
