A photograph of Thaddeus Attah, a member of the House of Representatives for the Labour Party, wearing a cap with an emblem made famous by President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been widely shared on social media.
Attah, who represents the Eti Osa federal constituency of Lagos, shared the images on his X page.
The image sparked a flurry of responses from Nigerians on X, who questioned if he had become a “disciple” of President Tinubu.
In February 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Mr. Attah the winner of the Eti-Osa federal constituency seat. Mr. Attah won the election with 24,075 votes, defeating singer Bankole Wellington, also known as BankyW, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received 18,666 votes. Babajide Obanikoro of the All Progressives Congress (APC) came in third with 16,901 votes.es.
