Robert Lewandowski achieved a remarkable milestone by scoring his 100th UEFA Champions League goal, contributing to Barcelona’s impressive 3-0 victory over Brest. This triumph provisionally elevated Barcelona to the second position in the Champions League group standings on Tuesday.

The experienced forward calmly slotted the ball into the net from the penalty spot in the 10th minute, giving the Catalan team the lead and reaching a significant milestone in his career.

 

He then added a second goal towards the end of the match, following Dani Olmo’s goal, resulting in the French team’s first defeat.

 

Lewandowski is only the third player to score that many goals in the ChampionsLeague. The other two are Lionel Messi, who scored 129 goals, and Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 140 goals.
