Ekiti Court Grants Dele Farotimi Bail Set at N50 Million

The Federal High Court in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has approved bail for lawyer and human rights advocate Dele Farotimi, setting the amount at N50 million.

The news was shared by Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, through his X account on Monday. According to Sowore, the bail terms include a surety of N50 million with a landed property. “The first hurdle was crossed,” Sowore posted. The case has been adjourned to January 29, 2025.
