Police authorities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have nabbed a man with human parts in the nation’s capital.
The arrest of Nuhu Ezra of Gosa Kipikipi village in Lugbe, Abuja, by the security operatives attached to Iddo police division followed intelligence that the suspect was with a human skull and bones.
This was disclosed in a statement on Wednesday by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh.
She said the suspect, who was found with the body parts upon interrogation, stated that he picked them up from the bush while hunting at Kuje and had the intention of selling the body parts for six hundred thousand naira (N600,000).
According to the statement, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, ordered a thorough investigation to be conducted to ascertain the bearer of the body parts, the intended buyer and if the suspect killed anyone to have the body parts, and how long the suspect has been in the alleged business.
