Hajiya Hauwa Kulu Muhammadu Jega, the mother of former INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, passed away on Friday night in Abuja after a brief illness. The family has announced that funeral prayers will take place today, Saturday, at 1:30 pm at the National Mosque in Abuja, followed by her burial at Gudu Cemetery.
Hajiya Hauwa leaves behind a large and accomplished family, including prominent figures such as Malam Mahmud Jega, a respected journalist and columnist, and Alhaji Abbas Jega, a former Executive Director of AMCON.
