The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Monday, 16th September 2024, as a public holiday in honor of Eid-ul-Mawlid, the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, made this announcement on behalf of the government, extending congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and abroad on this special occasion. The holiday provides an opportunity for Muslims to reflect on the teachings of the Prophet and celebrate his legacy.
