The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has successfully arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters in Sokoto State. The operation, conducted on September 28, 2024, targeted individuals operating in the Gidan Yaro and Dandima areas of Sokoto. The arrests were made based on credible intelligence regarding the suspects’ involvement in internet-related crimes.

The 13 suspected internet fraudsters arrested in Sokoto were apprehended based on credible intelligence regarding their involvement in internet-related offenses. All of the suspects claimed to be students at Usman Danfodio University Sokoto.
