Russia Ordered Its Citizens To Immediately Leave Israel After Israeli Airstrikes Vicinity Of Russia’s Khmeimim Base In Syria

Russia has recently issued a directive instructing its citizens to promptly depart from Israel. This action comes in response to Israeli airstrikes that targeted the vicinity of Russia’s Khmeimim base in Syria.

Due to the heightened geopolitical tensions in the region, the Russian ambassador in Tel Aviv advised Russian citizens residing in Israel to contemplate departing the country while feasible opportunities remain. This recommendation was conveyed during an interview with TASS.

Approximately 1.5 million Russian citizens reside in Israel. The Russian government has issued an advisory urging its citizens to depart from Israel as soon as possible due to impending significant events.

Russia is also initiating the evacuation of its citizens from Lebanon.
