Data from the Nigerian System Operator’s portal (niggrid.org) showed that, as of 8:16 a.m. today, the grid recorded an unprecedented zero Megawatts (MW).Seven out of the eleven electricity distribution companies in the country had zero load allocation, according to the national grid, which verified this information on its verified social media account, X (formerly Twitter).Later on, though, Ndidi Mbah, a spokesman for the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), responded, stating that power had been restored.
