President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom.
He arrived at the presidential wing of Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, at around 7:20 pm on Saturday, where he was welcomed by several top officials, including Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Minister of Finance Wale Edun, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Abubakar Bagudu, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, among others.
Tinubu initially left Abuja for the UK on Wednesday, October 2, for a two-week leave, according to a statement from his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. Onanuga noted that the president intended to use the period as a working vacation, reflecting on his administration’s economic reforms. On October 11, Tinubu left the UK for Paris for what was described as “an important engagement,” according to his Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters, Ibrahim Masari.
