Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, Geroge stated that if Fayose really did declare support for Oyebanji, then something is amiss.According to him, the PDP will begin looking into the former governors of his ward to determine whether he will face consequences for his anti-party actions.

Governor Fayose has clearly stated his direction if it is accurate to say that he publicly rejected the party and declared his intention to work for the APC governor. They will arrange for that investigation within the boundaries of Ekiti State from his ward before they

“There is a problem,” George said, “because Ayo knows that you cannot claim to be a member of this party and a former two-term governor of a party and then claim to be openly working for the governor of the opposition party.”Speaking on Sunday Politics on October 13, Fayose praised Governor Oyebanji and stated that it would be a miracle for the PDP to defeat him in the 2026 Ekiti State governorship election. The governor there is an APC member, but the meeting point is that I am a leader in Ekiti,” he stated. “As of right now, I am a member of the PDP.”

As I previously stated, we either die by lying or by speaking the truth. Governor Oyebanji has performed remarkably well.Other than something changing between now and that election, I am not sure what miracle will defeat him.”Let us be honest, forget about the party. The PDP is also in a serious crisis in Ekiti. Anyone can come here and say they do not care.”According to George, the PDP can still overcome the crisis that is causing the party to falter. He said that while a party may experience difficult times from time to time, the PDP’s current course of action is not the best one.

He expressed disappointment that PDP members are letting personal interests disrupt the party’s harmony, saying that in order for there to be a lasting peace within the party, party interests must always take precedence over personal interests. He urged the wary party members to give peace a chance within the party and to stop publicly washing their dirty linens.
