The Flamingos have once again received praise from the Nigeria Football Federation for their virtuoso performances during the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic.Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, the general secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, formally welcomed the team back to the nation Tuesday night. He said the women had a strong fight and should be encouraged even though the United States of America had eliminated them in the quarterfinals.
