The Special Advisor to the President, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff, had passed away.Lt. Gen. Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, Chief of the Army Staff, passed away at the age of 56. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, regretfully announced the news, the statement said.
