Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy, has graciously shared her personal spiritual journey that influenced her difficult decision to end her marriage with Mr. Twum-Ampofo.
In a candid interview with Cookie Tee on TV3, the gospel artist explained that the separation was not an impulsive decision but rather the result of profound contemplation and spiritual guidance.
Ohemaa Mercy disclosed that her decision to terminate her marital union was the product of meticulous deliberation, having sought divine counsel prior to arriving at the definitive resolution.
“I made the decision to divorce my husband after careful consideration and prayer. As a dedicated individual committed to my professional responsibilities, I recognized that the demands of marriage could potentially hinder my ability to fully devote myself to my work. Therefore, I sought divine guidance and approval before proceeding with the divorce.”
In response to inquiries regarding the initiation of the divorce proceedings, Ohemaa Mercy affirmed that she took the initial step. She emphasized that the decision was reached mutually and amicably, devoid of any animosity. “We arrived at a joint consensus to pursue separate paths, and he concurred,” she further elaborated.
