Speed Darlington, a Nigerian singer known for his controversial statements, has been arrested again by the Nigerian police in Owerri, Imo State.
This was confirmed by his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, who posted the news on his X account on November 27.
According to Adeyanju, Darlington was detained upon his return to Nigeria for a show, but the exact reasons for his arrest remain unclear.
In a post, Adeyanju suggested that Burna Boy may be behind the harassment, accusing him of using his influence to orchestrate the arrest.
This follows a previous incident on October 4, when Speed Darlington was arrested for a video where he insinuated that Burna Boy had a sexual relationship with U.S. rapper Diddy, which he claimed helped Burna Boy break into the international scene.
However, Darlington was released on bail five days later and continued to taunt Burna Boy publicly during his time abroad.
