Angelina jolie and Brad Pitt are no longer officially couples. This news is a relief after the battle fought at the court. It took 8 whole years for them to be able to finally get a divorce. During this 8 years, their children has dropped Brad Pitt surname and adopted their mother’s.

Angelina Jolie is an American actress who bags numerous awards. To mention but a few, she has and Academy Award, a Tony Award and three Golden globe award. She has also been named the Hollywood’s highest paid actress on multiple occasions.
Brad Pitt on the other hand is also an American actor and film maker. He has been able to bag different awards like 2 Golden globe award, two academy award, two British academy film award.
This stars seem to have alot in common. They are both wellknown and recognised for what they do. This all played a role in them getting married I would like to assume. You know what they say, like minds.
They got together while Mr and Mrs Smith was filmed that was 2005. Just like that the cute love story began with both of them falling in love while doing what they love. Angelina jolie was accused of being involved in a scandal that lead to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s divorce. She replied to them and said, ” To be intimate with a married man, when my own father cheated on my mother, is not something I could forgive. I could not look at myself in the morning if I did that. I wouldn’t be attracted to a man who cheats on his wife”.
The news of this beaming relationship was joy in the heart of their fans. “Brangelina”, a blend word of their name was all over the media during their 12 year relationship era. They were known as on of Hollywood’s glamorous couple. They got married August 14, 2014.
However tragedy struck just after two hears of marriage when Angelina jolie fiked for a divorce due to irreconcilable differences. They were both declared legally single April 12, 2019 but the legal battles continued.
Four months later, the former couple released a joint statement indicating that they reached an agreement to handle their divorce in a private forum, and would keep future details of their divorce confidential by utilizing a private judge.
“The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues,” according to the statement.
The battle lasted for 8 long years. Pitt sued her for selling the share of the winery they owned which she also sued him for physically and verbally assaulting her and the children.
In 2018, the couple reached a custody arrangement for their six children, three of whom are adopted, though it appears to have since unravelled.
Finally, it is a good news that the long standing battle has been resolved.
Angelina Jolie’s lawyer James Simon said in a statement, “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.”
He added, “This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”
