President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the North West Development Commission’s (NWDC) governing board.
Tinubu appointed Ambassador Haruna Ginsau (Jigawa) as Chairman, and Professor Abdullahi Shehu Ma’aji (Kano) as MD/CEO.
This was announced by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga in a statement sent out via his X handle, @aonanuga1956 (formerly known as Twitter).
The statement claims that this was carried out following Tinubu’s signing of the North West Development Commission Bill into law on July 24, which was a significant turning point in the Commission’s formation.
NWDC Governing Board Nominees: Ambassador Haruna Ginsau (Jigawa) is the chairman, and Professor Abdullahi Shehu Ma’aji (Kano) is the MD/CEO. Members: Dr. Yahaya Umar Namahe (Sokoto) Hon.
