A devastating fire broke out at a retirement home in Amman, Jordan, claiming the lives of six residents and injuring 60 others. The blaze spread rapidly through an 80-square-meter area of the White Beds Society center, which houses 111 elderly individuals.
While the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, emergency services were able to evacuate all remaining residents safely. Five of the injured individuals are reported to be in serious condition.
