Indeed it is a time of fulfillment of prophecy as one of the two timed member of the national assembly react to the news of Yayaha’s Imprisonment.
The ex governor of Kogi State, Yayaha Bello was accused of 110 billion fraud. He was orded to court on Tuesday by Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja.
Judge Maryanne Anenih’s ruling was rejecting Yayaha’s bail. The bail was rejected on the grounds that it was premature.
She ruled that the bail application was incompetent because Yayaha Bello was not in custody as at when the bail was filed.
Let me explain if you don’t understand what I mean.
It was discovered that Mr Bello’s bail was filed on November 22. As at that time however, he wasn’t at the custody. He was arrested by the EFCC on 26th of November and brought to court on 27th of November.
So on that ground, the judge granted Him no bail. Two other people- Umar Oricha and Abdulsalam Hudu who were co defendants of Mr Bello has been granted bail in the sum of 300 million each with surieties in like sum. I can hear you ask, so what next?
Well, Mr Bello can apply for another bail but the court is going on Christmas vacation next week so the probability of getting the bail is low.
If His lawyers are not able to apply for the fresh bail, He would have to spend this festive period at jail.

This video is basically him from 6 years ago where he like a prophet spoke of things to come. He sang rhythmically about the Ex-Governor and added dance steps to the song.
Mr Bello is to remain at Kuje Correctional Centre till trial which begins on January 29th 2025.
