Rapper, Folarin Falana, also known as Falz, has respectfully requested VeryDarkMan to issue an apology and retract his previous statement about him within a 24-hour time frame.
On Tuesday, September 24th, social activist VeryDarkMan shared an alleged audio conversation between Bobrisky and a male acquaintance. In this conversation, Bobrisky mentioned having a conversation with Falz while he was in prison. Bobrisky also claimed that Falz and his father, Femi Falana, SAN, attempted to secure a presidential pardon for him.
In response, VDM asked whether Falz “dey do” and showed distaste at both Falz and his father for hanging out with Bobrisky.
Falz in a statement from his father’s chambers which was released this evening, confirmed that Bobrisky reached out to him on May 4 to ask for N3 million to secure a VIP section in the prison. He, however said he refused to give Bobrisky any money. He said VDM’s comment portrayed him to be a homos£xual, one to pervert the cause of justice and a complicit in the upturning of justice for financial gains.
Falz said VDM also portrayed him as a fake human rights activist without contacting him to hear his side of the story.
The artist, represented by legal counsel, has requested an immediate retraction of the offensive and derogatory publication. Additionally, a formal apology is demanded, to be prominently displayed on all platforms where the aforementioned publication was disseminated, without any justifiable basis.
The attorneys claim that should VDM neglect to take these actions within twenty-four (24) hours, they will pursue suitable legal actions against VDM, including monetary damages.
