Aderemi Oseni, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on the Federal Road Maintenance Agency, announced on Monday that the Federal Government, under President Bola Tinubu, is ready to undertake repairs on all federal roads throughout Nigeria as part of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by the public.

Oseni, who represents the Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo State, made this statement during a thank-you visit to the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, the state capital. While at the APC secretariat, Oseni expressed his condolences to the party following the death of its Chairman, Isaac Omodewu, and thanked party members for their support during his election victory.

He urged the party to come together in preparation for the 2027 elections and called on executive members to develop a strategy to regain power for the party.

Additionally, Oseni donated N10 million to the party for operational expenses. In response, Olayide Abas, the acting Chairman of the party, thanked Oseni for his visit and expressed pride in his substantial efforts to positively impact his constituency.

Addressing the poor condition of federal roads across the nation, the lawmaker urged Nigerians to be patient with Tinubu and allow him additional time to tackle the country’s challenges.

He stated, “Tinubu is not responsible for the issues we currently face, including the bad roads nationwide. These problems are rooted in previous administrations. Tinubu is diligently working to resolve the challenges left by his predecessors. As part of his Renewed Hope Agenda, he is making significant efforts to repair all federal roads across Nigeria, helping to alleviate the suffering of the masses.”
