Former Nigerian Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison last year for human trafficking, is now facing a new investigation by the London Metropolitan Police.

A recent documentary titled “Daniel vs Ekweremadu” reveals that the police are probing a new case involving Ekweremadu. However, details remain limited due to the ongoing investigation.

The documentary discloses that a woman was arrested in November 2022 on suspicion of conspiracy to exploit for organ harvesting but has since been released under investigation. Due to the sensitivity and active nature of the investigation, the police have refrained from providing further comments.

This two-part docu-series provides exclusive insights from British prosecutors, police officials, and the family of the survivor-victim, referred to as “Daniel.” The series, produced by Chude Jideonwo Presents, is available on various streaming platforms and explores Ekweremadu’s journey from a high-ranking political figure to a convict.
