England’s Jude Bellingham faces a disciplinary investigation for a potential breach of rules during a Euro 2024 match against Slovakia.
Bellingham scored the equalising goal in Sunday’s game, much to the delight of England fans.
But it is understood UEFA is investigating him for “basic rules of decent conduct” after it is understood he grabbed his crotch after scoring.
Harry Kane went on to score England’s winner in extra-time.
A UEFA statement said: “An UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector will conduct a disciplinary investigation regarding a potential violation of the basic rules of decent conduct by the English Football Association player, Jude Bellingham.”
England are due to play Switzerland in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
