American rap artist, Kanye West, has reportedly acquired a $35 million residence in Beverly Hills, California, subsequent to the transformation of his previous Malibu property into a fortified structure.

On Monday, October 28, TMZ reported that the “Heartless” rapper had purchased the 20,000-square-foot property in the gated neighbourhood of Beverly Park North.

The expansive residence boasts eleven bedrooms and eighteen bathrooms, situated on approximately seven acres of land. It encompasses a resort-style swimming pool adorned with a cascading waterfall, a separate lap pool, a dedicated pool house, a tennis court, and an “entertainment pavilion.”

Kanye West reportedly splashes $35M on Beverly Hills mega-mansion after failed Malibu ?bomb shelter?

According to TMZ, Ye, 47, bought the mansion under an LLC in an off-market deal and his purchase comes a month after his gutted Malibu, Calif., property was sold for $21 million after buying it in 2021 for $57 million.

The low offer on the beachfront home was likely due to West removing all of the windows and electricity in a failed attempt to turn the mansion into a “bomb shelter from the 1910s,” per TMZ.

The musician’s project reportedly resulted in legal complications with his project manager, Tony Saxon.

Saxon filed a lawsuit against the musician, alleging violations of several labor codes and disregarding advice to remove the windows.
