The Atalanta player, Ademola Lookman, has been nominated for the Serie A Forward of the Year award at the esteemed Gran Gala del Calcio Awards.
Lookman will compete against Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, both from Inter Milan, as well as Rafael Leao from AC Milan, for the year.
Atalanta Football Club has been nominated for the esteemed Club of the Year award, and their esteemed manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, is in the running for the prestigious Coach of the Year award.
The Nigerian international player had an impressive performance last season for La Dea, contributing 17 goals and 10 assists across all competitions. His remarkable hat-trick played a crucial role in securing the team’s victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final.
The 27-year-old football player has already achieved eight goals and five assists in 14 appearances across all competitions this season.
Lookman placed 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’or rankings.
He is widely regarded as the most likely candidate to receive the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.
The Gran Galà del Calcio awards are determined by votes from members of the Italian Players’ Association (AIC). The winners will be announced during a ceremony on December 2.
