The Abuja Police authorities have nabbed a man who attempted take his own life as a protest over the country’s state of socio-economic hardship.

Furthermore, the man identified as Shuaibu Alhaji Yushau had earlier on Monday climbed a 120ft mast at ASO Radio in the Katampe area of the nation’s capital, threatening to end his life.

However, after so many professional persuasion from the security operatives, Shuaibu Alhaji Yushau later calm down and he was prevented from ending his own life.

The suspect is currently in police custody and stable condition,” the spokesperson of the FCT Police Command Josephine Adeh said in a late Monday statement.
