Enzo Maresca of Chelsea has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month for September after a string of successful games.
Chelsea drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace at home to start the month, but they quickly recovered to win three games in a row. Before winning 4-2 at Stamford Bridge against Brighton, that run included victories on the road against West Ham and Bournemouth.

Cole Palmer, 22, won the September EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month award after scoring four goals in the first half of the latter match.
Maresca’s honour is a testament to his outstanding performance since taking over in the summer. The 44-year-old was named as Mauricio Pochettino’s replacement in West London after leading Leicester to promotion to the Premier League the previous season.Chelsea is four points behind leaders Liverpool in the Premier League standings, in fourth place, as they aim to qualify for the Champions League in 2024–2025.
Maresca is the second recently hired manager to win the Manager of the Month title in the Premier League this year; Brighton’s Fabian Hurzeler won the title in August.
