A 300 level Computer Science student of Tafawa Balewa University(ATBU) has just died in its hostel washroom room.
The student identified as Naja’atu Salisu was reportedly found unconscious in her hostel bathroom before was rushed to the nearest hospital but all efforts to save her was futile.
At the time this news is collated, the Bauchi based University management are mourning the demise of the student and are working tirelessly to unravel the cause of her death.
The institution spokesman, Zailani Bappa confirmed the tragedy, noting that Naja’atu gave up the ghost at the University Clinic where medical personnels tried to resuscitate her.
Bappa said: “…she was then transferred to the Trauma Centre of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital where doctors pronounced her dead.”
