The Bauchi State Police Command has apprehended Kabiru Adamu, a suspected dealer in dangerous substances commonly referred to as “Suck and Die,” in Bauchi State.

According to a statement issued on Tuesday by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Wakil, the arrest was made on November 22, 2024, by operatives from the Rapid Response Squad led by Commander CSP Suleiman M. Tambuwal. The operation took place in Tudun Wadan Dan Iya (Bayani Gari), Bauchi.
Recovered during the raid were 363 empty bottles, 19 30-ml bottles of suspected methylene chloride (also known as “Suck and Die”), and 264 pieces of OSHN Diamond Rubber Solution. The suspect, who resides in Igbo Quarters, was taken into custody.
During interrogation, Adamu reportedly confessed to receiving the items from his employer and selling them for payment. He disclosed that each bottle of “Suck and Die” was sold for ₦300, while each unit of the Diamond Rubber Solution was priced at ₦250.
The Bauchi police continue their investigations into the matter, emphasizing their commitment to curbing the sale and distribution of illicit substances in the state.
