Josh Kettler, the head of staff for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, apparently resigned from his position a few days before he was scheduled to travel with them to Colombia. The Daily Mail was informed on Monday about the sudden resignation by sources close to the couple, and rumours spread from there. The most trustworthy sources, however, stated that Kettler and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided that this partnership was not what they should have. About a week before their May trip to Nigeria began, Kettler accepted a position as Markle and Prince Harry's chief of staff. According to insiders, he has been on a three-month trial term ever since, which is typical for many occupations. According to these accounts, Kettler and the Sussexes decided to split up after ninety days, "both sides agreeing it wasn't the right fit." Many commentators, however, linked this to rumours that Markle and Prince Harry have generally had trouble keeping staff, and a more dramatic story was revealed in a follow-up published by The Daily Mail on Thursday. Years have passed since the beginning of the rumours that Markle and Prince Harry are hard to work with, but former coworkers have remained silent. Markle grew quite close to others who lived in their home, according to Prince Harry, who refuted this story in his biography Spare. He and Markle have not yet provided a public statement in response to the rumours and reports regarding Kettler.
