We are currently recruiting for the following position:

Title: Team Lead, Financial Transactions – North

  • Job Identification: 1150
  • Locations: Abuja, Bauchi, Kaduna, Plateau, Benue, Adamawa, Gombe, Taraba, Zamfara, Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Kebbi, Sokoto, Yobe, and Maiduguri – Borno
  • Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely confirmation of cheques.
  • Arrange for prompt supply of cash to the branch/agencies.
  • Supervise Teller activities and modify cash transactions above the Tellers’ limit.
  • Handle vault cash indent/requisitions and supervise in-house cheque payments.
  • Monitor balances of Bulk Tellers to ensure total reconciliation and balance.
  • Ensure timely evacuation of cash for Tellers and handle Teller cash requisitions.
  • Supervise cash deposits, payments, and e-payment activities (e.g., Pay Direct, E-transact).
  • Oversee receipt and confirmation of clearing cheques (inward and outward).
  • Review transaction history to ensure consistency and assist Teller officers in cash reconciliation.
  • Call over cash confirmation for all bulk amounts above N200,000 using the quality control register with Finacle postings.
  • Confirm cheques for lodgments presented to other branches.
  • Submit monthly ATM reconciliation on the portal.
  • Process salaries and payment schedules on I-Teller.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: First Degree in any discipline.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in Branch Operations and Services in a full-time employment role.
