I am sure we all know that animated movie are not only for children like some Nigerians would claim It seems like Moana had become a animation widely accepted by Nigerians both old and young.
What can I say, I am an animation lover myself. For once, it was thrilling to watch an animated film where the princess did not even have her prince. I am not saying, the pursuit for a Mister right is wrong in itself. Instead I got to watch an heroine who was fighting for what she believed. Trust me, it felt refreshing.
Maybe every parent could relate to their teenage daughter suddenly growing wings and not agreeing with them, or every child agreed that sometimes if they were left to do what they wanted, it probably would result into something great. Is it the beautiful ocean scenery or the intriguing culture that is amusing? Even Te fiti was so gorgeous. I have so many theories, but I am sure every Moana lovers has theirs too
