A one-year loan agreement has been reached between Napoli and the esteemed Turkish club Galatasaray for the talented footballer Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian Super Eagles forward is currently en route to Turkey, where he will be introduced to the Galatasaray supporters.

Fabrizio Romano said on Twitter last night that Napoli’s release clause has been cut from €130 million to €75 million.

Additionally, Napoli has the option to extend the player’s contract through 2027.

The loan move to Galatasaray until June 2025 covers Osimhen €9/10m salary.

The relocation to Turkey concludes the protracted transfer negotiations involving the Nigerian striker, Chelsea Football Club, and Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli.

Following the collapse of the Saudi agreement, negotiations between Napoli and Chelsea reached an impasse in the final stages of the transfer window, placing Osimhen in a challenging situation.

He was also kicked out of the Napoli team for the rest of the season, which meant he wouldn’t be able to play football until the next transfer window.
