Why I Seek Indefinite Leave – Ajuri, Tinubu’s Spokesman

The decision was made after consulting with my family over several days in response to a deteriorating medical situation at home.

He said: “On Friday, I submitted a memo to the Chief of Staff to the President informing my office that I am proceeding on an indefinite leave of absence to frontally deal with medical matters presently affecting my immediate, nuclear family.

While I am aware of the urgency of my duties, I regret to inform you that I must temporarily step down from my roles as Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity and Official Spokesperson of the President, Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action, and Chairman, Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen.

This decision was made after careful consideration and consultation with my family, as a pressing medical situation at home has taken precedence. I look forward to resuming my full-time national service when circumstances allow. I kindly request privacy for my family and me during this difficult time.
