Afrobeats music sensation, Wizkid, has accomplished a remarkable milestone with his recently released single, “Kese”. The song has garnered an impressive 1.5 million streams on Spotify within its initial release, surpassing the previous record set by Davido’s “Awuke”.

Wizkid’s latest release, titled “Kese,” is part of his album “Morayo.” This release follows shortly after his previous release, “Piece of My Heart,” which featured American artist Brent Faiyaz.

In addition, Wizkid’s “Piece of My Heart” surpassed one million Spotify plays on its first day of release, marking a remarkable milestone.

A recent music chart published by Chart Data showcases Wizkid’s remarkable achievement, securing the top two positions for the most-streamed songs in Nigeria on their debut date. “Kese” triumphantly claims the top spot, while “Piece of My Heart” follows closely as the runner-up.

Asake’s Grammy-nominated song “MMS” from his album “Lungu Boy,” featuring Wizkid, has achieved remarkable success, securing the third position with an impressive 870,000 streams.
