A recent disagreement between two prominent musicians, Davido and Wizkid, has escalated due to a social media exchange. The catalyst for this renewed conflict was a tweet by Black Tycoone, a business associate of Davido, who playfully urged Wizkid’s father to release an album, alluding to Wizkid’s delayed album launch. In response, Wizkid subtly criticized Davido’s musical abilities without explicitly mentioning him. Although Wizkid did not directly name Davido, his followers interpreted his posts as a veiled attack.
Wizkid mocked Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, dubbed the “dancing governor,” in a scathing tweet, calling him a “spoilt rich child” and stating, “When u see people wey dem papa and family train u go know!” My uncle isn’t dancing on the internet! 😎❤️Additionally, he made fun of Davido’s followers by implying that they revere him more for his fortune than for his skill.
