Globacom Launches My-G Entertainment Tour Across Major Cities in Nigeria

Globacom has unveiled an entertainment tour for its youth-focused product, My-G, designed to engage young Nigerians and showcase the benefits of the innovative offering. The tour, which will take place in major cities across the country, was announced at a press briefing on Thursday.

Promoting My-G’s Features

Globacom’s Director of Creativity, Mr. Chuka Obi, highlighted that My-G is tailored to meet the entertainment and connectivity needs of young Nigerians by offering affordable data bundles for accessing popular platforms like WhatsApp, TikTok, Snapchat, Boomplay, Audiomack, Instagram, and GloTV.

“My-G ensures our customers can stay connected to their favorite entertainment sites without worrying about high data costs,” Obi stated. He emphasized the experiential nature of the tour, noting that attendees can expect thrilling entertainment tied to their adoption of My-G data bundles.

Youth Leaders Endorse My-G Initiative

Youth leaders and student representatives who attended the unveiling praised the initiative as a significant step toward youth empowerment.

  • Morakinyo Olaolu, President of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) at Yaba College of Technology, said:
    “This is a great initiative for youth development. My-G is truly for us.”
  • Adebobola Ayomide, SUG President at Lagos State University, remarked:
    “My-G will help youth stay active online for both academic and social purposes. We commend Glo for this plan and look forward to more student-friendly packages.”
  • Adekanye Ibukunoluwa, representing the University of Lagos SUG, added:
    “Affordable data from My-G will greatly assist us with online academic work. We hope Glo will bring more activities to campuses to benefit students.”
